Lil Raymond has a 1st…

…he officially has his 1st job and he starts today! Most of you know that the boys have worked summers with their dad as soon as they were old enough, but this is his first official job, which involved filling out an application, going to 2 interviews, and well I can’t express how excited he was when he got the return call that he was hired. I’m not sure who was happier him or his dad and I. He will be working for Chick-fil-A and we couldn’t be prouder for him. He is lucky I have a soccer game today, or I would be up at the mall taking pics…yeah I know, I’m over the edge at times, but when you have a child and they have a 1st, well those are always “Kodak” moments! It is just another reminder to me that no matter how old one gets, when you have kids and they are your 1st born, that everything is truly a first! A teenage son who lives at home and commutes to school + a job = a happy family! There is so much be to be thankful for, it is so great to serve a loving God~

Emma had a 1st, she…

lost her 1st tooth. She spent the weekend at her grandmas, was left there with a mouthful of teeth and came home minus 1.

Her two bottom teeth are loose and she has been waiting over 2 weeks for them to come out. She is eagerly awaiting the tooth fairy, unfortunately the tooth is in the wood chips at the playground in Marietta.

Yep, she was at the playground, and went to get a drink of water from her water bottle, used her teeth to open the lid and well that’s all it took, the tooth fell out, blood everywhere, Emma’s hysterical (blood does that to her), and no tooth to be found.

Now if we were good parents we would have improvised however we figured, she has another loose tooth waiting to come out, we will just make sure the tooth fairy compensates her well ;-)

March 1st, 2009 in Atlanta equals…

...Snow…I know can you believe it, one week the weather is just right, the following week it’s snowing and a week later it’s hot, this weekend calls for rain. That’s what we love about GA, you never know what you are going to get, but no matter what it is, you only have it long enough to enjoy it, but not too long that it gets to you.

March has proven to be a very busy month; we are in the half way point of our soccer season, between me and Robert. Raymond is currently on spring break from school. Big Raymond is working when the weather cooperates, and well Emma just as always is along for the ride.

Thank goodness for teens who still love to play in the snow, Emma was soo happy!

The girls had Raymond rolling up snow to build a snowman.

Until the next chance I get to blog, here are some pics of Emma the week before the snow @ the park:
