…déjà vu! Oh yeah, because we already did. Pre-K graduations, you gotta love the little ones. Last year around this time we were celebrating a "pre-school" graduation from Buford City Schools Child Care, and instead of going straight to Kindergarten, we decided to have Emma attend Lanier Academy and participate in the GA Pre-K funded program. This past year she has grown leaps and bounds and ready or not, BES here we come….

Green Gold Game &…
Spring practice started a week and a half ago. It was a little later than normal, but we had to wait for the NEW practice facility to be completed! They are now practicing on TURF, yep you heard it right turf, and as exciting as it sounds, it's hot as heck on that field, God was great to these boys by providing some cool windy afternoons after the first two days. It took almost a week to get bodies hydrated and the feel of new surface, with that said, today's scrimmage at the Old City Park (where there is real grass), was a nice relief from the turf for these boys.
As a new tradition Coach wanted to start a new tradition by providing watermelon to the boys as a symbol that spring practice has come to an end. Needless to say his request was our (Moms Huddle) pleasure to provide. We solicited watermelons from parents and the turn out, as usual was overwhelming, we had enough melon for all players, coaches, sibling, parents and fans.
Here a are some pics to help us remember this day:

Happy Days, Happy…
…Mother's Day! Over all today was an easy going relaxing day, and after the business of life these past two weeks, it was a well welcomed overdue restful day! I felt like I have the best of two worlds, got a homemade card from Em, which is always sweet, but also got the thought provoking card from the boys that made my heart move, which is always a great feeling J
The family decided to give me the morning off from cooking our usual Sunday breakfast and treated me to Golden Corral. The food was yummy and the company was great! Headed to church after and as always left more inspired that when I arrived. Best part was sitting between my boys during the service. Even though it's Mother's Day, more importantly it's Em's official b-day and well she wasn't gonna let us forget, so she was pleasantly please when brothers gave her additional gifts. End a great day with a relaxing date night with Ray, he treated me to a movie and best part was I got to pick the movie, so no gory, action pack movie, we watched the "Last Song" and it was a tear jerker, but well worth it!
This is how our church paid tribute to all the mommas today...it was great (you will want to scroll to the bottom and pause "our tunes" so you can listen to this video), it was too funny:
If you are a mom, my hopes are that you had just as great of day as I did, if you have a mom, I hope you gave her or made her day the way my babies made mine!
