Valentine ’09…

…some spend it on roses, some spend it at expensive restaurants, some just spend it with love ones. That’s pretty much what we did today and it’s not over yet officially, but just about. So the boys are older, this is the first year I have helped them plan on what can be an overrated holiday, or at least in my opinion when the final cost has come out to more than even I will share on-line ;-)

Yesterday to prepare for today, Raymond washed the mustang, got a haircut, and cleaned his room…whoopee. Today he picked up Heather took her to lunch @ longhorns, rented a movie and came home to watch it…now he is cooking dinner for her…what is the world coming too.

Yesterday, Robert gave at least two gifts @ school, to two different girls. Today he was up early, we attempted to get his learners, but since Monday is a holiday and the DMV office is closed on Mondays, they took today off as well….found this out after we went to two different locations…anyhow, got the hair cut, went to the mall to “Build a Bear” for Jessie, came home, now he is back to the mall for the date, which includes a movie and perhaps dinner.

Emma, thank GOD she is only 4, so for valentine we took her to the mall (w/Robert), and let her “Build a Bear” for the first time ever, she had a great time and loves her new “ballerina bear”, her name is “Coco Bear Contreras”, sound familiar…yeah same name as the new pup, gotta love the mind of a 4 year old.
