Can you believe it? Our baby is 5! Seems like only yesterday, we found out that we were going to be blessed with another baby...10 years after Robert, and how much more blessed we felt when we found out that God entrusted us with a girl! 5 years later, we wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. One new thing we learned this year, is that little girls don't have a birthDAY, they have a birthday week, and at the rate we are going we will probably be celebrating all month. Although she is the princess, she still does not escape the 3rd child syndrome, if you have more than two or even more you know what I'm talking about! Unfortunately you just don't do things the same as you did with the first born, you do well to do just as much with the 2nd, but when the number hits 3 or more, well let's just hope it will build "Character", that's what we like to think…we'll be sure to keep you posted and let you know how that turns out! All 3 of our kids were born on or around holidays, so timing for parties and such are just not always feasible, but don't feel sorry for them, they are not lacking, in love or other things, believe me, they will survive! Lil Raymond was born on Palm Sunday, a week before Easter, and his birthday always falls on or around spring break. Robert was born on Pearl Harbor Day and although folks don't really celebrate that day, if falls between Thanksgiving and Christmas, enough said. And well Emma was born on Mother's Day, thus close to the end of the school year, and well when you work for a school system, trying to fit it all in, doesn't always work out. Again, don't fret, all 3 of them are well rounded and when it is all said and done, I'm sure she will have us celebrating the whole month ;-)

well that answers that!! audrey kept asking me if emma was 5 yet and when her b'day was....i unfortunately couldn't remember....i knew it was may, but that was it! i totally understand about getting their worth out a birthday...we drag them out around here too :) i completely understand your decision to keep emma back one more year, we have already decided we will do that with grant...some kiddos just need a little more time than others :) love all these pics too and the football ones.....talk to you soon!
