Although it was a low key b-day for him the celebrations began last night at B12. Randy bought him a cake and after bible study we all sang Happy Birthday to him and enjoyed yummy cake.
The next night on his actual birthday the Frontera dinner tradition continued. It wasn't our typical b-day dinner, with a larger than normal guest list, but none the less, those closest to him were there and we were thankful they joined us.
His birthday is during a very busy time for all, you know just after Thanksgiving and before Christmas, so trying to put things together usually just don't happen without some planning and well since there was not planning there was no BIG super 16th celebration.
As with any other day this time during the year even those in our family have very busy schedules. Robert had football practice till late as usual, I had a Mom's Huddle meeting, lil Raymond had finals at school, and Big Raymond was working late. So needless to say, it was a late dinner.
Stacy & Brandon joined our family of five and although we were all tired, we enjoyed each other's company and caught up on what everyone is up to. It was a good night and great dinner!
Making that all important wish and blowing out his candles!
